Because we were looking for certain features WordPress doesn’t offer, we decided to move to blogger.com. You can visit our new blog by going to exclusiveimage.blogspot.com. Thanks for your patience and we hope you love our new blog!

Our new magazines arrived early, to my surprise. They are just as wonderful as I imagined they would be. And they were a hit at our training session Saturday.

Now that I have them in-hand, you should see them at your dance school this week!

Well, I’ve only got about a week before I’m headed off to the New England Institute of Professional Photography (NEIPP) for this year’s session. I’m signed up to study under Susan and Stewart Powers who are just masters at what they do. This specific study will focus on children’s portraits so I’ll be itching to try the things I learn as soon as I get back. And what better timing than Spring’s warm weather to get outside with the kids to create some beautiful works of art.

Our New Magazine

I’m so thrilled that our new magazine, Picture Me Dancing, will be arriving tomorrow! We created this magazine especially for dance schools that have hired us for their costume portraits. It’s loaded with poses, products, price lists, order forms, discounts, promotions and info about our exclusive limited edition dance portrait sessions throughout the year. If your school hired us for portraits this year, you can expect to have it in your hands by next week!

Well, we’ve been very busy training our staff and photographers for this year’s dance portrait season. We were very fortunate to have wonderful models to work with. Each of them volunteered their day to spend with us so that our staff could improve their skills. They’ve all been very excited about the new portrait sets for 2008 just as we are! If you haven’t voted on the sets yet, take a second to do it now. Just click here and scroll down for the voting booth.

Our new magazine will be ready for distribution in about a month. This new magazine, Picture Me Dancing, will contain loads of poses to choose from, order forms, product photos and details, special promotions and information about our unique dance portrait limited edition sessions throughout the year. We can’t wait to get it in your hands!

Fashion Face

Here is another drawing I did with markers. Squint a little when you look at it and the colors will blend even more.

A Fun Idea

Here’s a fun little project I saw on Sylvia’s blog (click here). All you Photoshop/graphic design people would have fun with it too. Give it a try.

Just to explain briefly, there are three links provided to random items that you need to put together to make your own pretend band CD cover. Here’s mine.

Center Stage

I had a blast creating these images for our new Center Stage Limited Edition dance session. It was quite a bit of work to get the stage for the shoot but I was determined.

Sarah is always the perfect model because she’s an incredible dancer and so beautiful!

Smiling Boy

Here’s another drawing I did. This one was done while I was at a ski lodge with friends. I used to board but never really enjoyed it enough to want to pay to go. So I would hang out in the lodge with my drawing pad.

Breath

This is one of my favorite drawings I’ve ever done…
